Hello friends,
Attending the 2024 Wise Traditions Conference in Orlando this year was nothing short of incredible. This gathering always offers something unique, something truly inspiring—and this year, it was a powerful reminder of what it means to be part of a community rooted in health, wisdom, and tradition.
There’s a sense of kinship at Wise Traditions that’s hard to put into words. People come from all walks of life, yet each story shared is one of resilience, personal healing, and the journey toward true wellness. Listening to folks speak about how ancestral wisdom transformed their health and the health of their families was moving beyond measure. These aren’t just theories or abstract principles—these are real-life transformations, each adding a layer of richness to the larger community tapestry.
Meeting pioneers in this field was one of the highlights. I had the pleasure of connecting with Natasha Campbell-McBride, the mind behind the GAPS diet, and Sally Fallon, whose contributions continue to guide us toward a healthier, more balanced approach to nutrition. Congressman Thomas Massie of Kentucky also took the stage, offering an inspiring and engaged perspective on health and policy. And, of course, Holistic Hilda was there, passionately sharing her work on spreading the Weston A. Price (WAP) message to wider audiences.
None of this would be possible without people like Paul Frank, who dedicated countless hours to make the event seamless for all of us. His patience, especially with the challenges of working with hotel policies, was commendable. I also want to thank the incredible vendors, sponsors, tireless volunteers, and dedicated staff. The food program kept us all nourished, and the chapter leaders—who work year-round—created a sense of connection that extended beyond the event. Every detail, every person, and every effort made this event as impactful as it was.
To everyone who was there and everyone who made it possible, my heartfelt thanks. It was a joy to be surrounded by such dedicated, inspiring individuals. Here’s to carrying this wisdom forward and to seeing you all at the next conference!
Stay Nutty,
Rich
